These definitely brighten, but they left my skin feeling a little tight. I think I left the lather on too long. I have to use a heavy moisturizer right after. Great for oily skin though

It definitely brightens, but make sure you don't leave it on too long if you have super dry skin like me. I left it on for 5 minutes and it felt a bit tight. Works better if you just wash and rinse quickly
